Things are happening around here. But where in the world are things not happening? If you happen to know, please let me know.

 

The update in my corner:

• My wife has started grad school and is grieving the loss of her pleasure reading; yet she is thrilled with the program (library & info. science).
• My two-year old son is trying out different animal personalities; he may be a shape-shifter. “I a bear…”  “I a loud cheetah…”  “I a monkey-frog…”
• Cosmogon, the band I’m in, rehearsed recently. We’ve got some songs coming together. I figure we need at least 5 solid tunes before we can announce our world tour.
• I’m experimenting with something called MIT (mental image technology), which is along the lines of creative-positive visualization. Apparently many top athletes, musicians, and power-executives use these techniques. I will say it is helping me make cold-calls with confidence as I continue my job search.
